Daughters, sons and mothers were delighted to share a sumptuous fish-based meal. They were part of five lucky winners of the Mother’s Day Lunch courtesy of Yalelo Uganda, the aquaculture company that prides in providing Uganda’s protein-rich, fresh fish.
The five winners with the most post likes, comments and retweets on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter were announced on Saturday, May 8 and treated to the lunch, along with their mothers and family members on Mother’s Day Sunday at the high-end fine dining restaurant La Cabana at Speke Apartments, along Wampewo Avenue in Kampala.
Speaking at the luncheon, Catherine Twesigye, Yalelo Uganda’s Marketing Manager, said having families treat their mothers to a special meal on a special day was a way of the company appreciating their customers.
“I cannot tell you how excited we are that we get to share a meal with everyone here today. It is not every day that we get to sit on the same table and enjoy Yalelo fish with our customers. As Yalelo Uganda, we wanted to give back to you our loyal customers for your consistent support,” she said.
“We pride ourselves in providing an affordable protein source from Uganda’s freshest fish and what better way than to commemorate Mother’s Day by sharing a full course fish-based meal with customers and their loved ones,” Twesigye said.
