Accessibility: it’s situated on the southern sector of Bwindi. You can access it through Kabale- Kisoro-Nkuringo by road and by air.
Attractions: It is an eco friendly lodge that offers beautiful views of the Albertine as well as the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. On a clear day, be sure to capture the top of Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge has a sister safari company- Nkuringo Safaris through which you can book your Mountain Gorilla trekking experience. Like it’s motto states, ‘In harmony with nature’, the hospitality facility is rich evidence of nature flourishing in plant life and trees that dot the lodge. You’ll be welcomed with smiles in the beautiful corner of Nkuringo which sits at 7, 000 feet above sea levels.
Prices: To track the mountain gorilla ? you’ll part with Shs250, 000 if you’re Ugandan, US$600 if you’re an East African foreigner and US$700 if you are not an East African resident/foreigner. A night at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge is $100 discount rate for Ugandans. Otherwise, normal rate is US$300.
