Enock Kaboyo is the General Manager of Bambuseae Eco-Park, a facility with 25 rooms. It is located about two kilometres along the Katosi Road, off the Kampala-Jinja highway. He shares about the park: –

What does Bambuseae Eco-Park offer?

It is an entertainment centre. We have accommodation, a camping zone, conference and a couple of venues for parties.

What is the occupancy level?

We have 25 rooms and 50 tents are available for camping.

What are your rates?

We have single rooms for Shs200, 000, doubles for Shs350, 000 and tents for Shs80, 000. All the accommodation rates include breakfast and swimming.

What makes your accommodation unique?

It is a quiet place like a home away from home. It is comfortable.

How much are the meals?

Local food costs Shs30, 000 per meal. We have snacks like chips with fish, chips with liver, chips with goat. All those go for Shs20, 000. Fish and chips for Shs32, 000.

Which other reasons can you give to someone to come to Bambuseae?

Good service and privacy.

Tell us about the eco-friendliness of the park?

We have a waterfall, fish pond that means you can go and fish from the pond and have your fish prepared for you. We have flowers, bamboo and endeavour to maintain a green environment.

What is the name of the village?

Namumira.
